Chief Executive Officer, Founder and Owner
Our Chief Executive Officer is a board certified Neuroradiologist with extensive PACS experience.  She graduated from the University of Southern California in 1980 and completed her medical training in 1984.  She completed Diagnostic Radiology in 1994 and a Neuroradiology Fellowship in 1996 at the University of Washington, Seattle Washington.  She is a U.S. Navy veteran with 25 years of service.  During her career she held increasingly responsible positions and let the installation of the first Radiology Picture Archiving Commuication System at a major hospital. 
Key Experience
  • Responsible for the evaluation, selection, installation and proper working of imaging equipment at a major regional hospital.
  • Provided strategic planning, data collection and business planning in order to establish a Radiology Residency program at a major regional hospital.
  • Provided financial support and career mentoring for the Gamma Phi Beta foundation for the past 21 years in support of organizations aiding and fostering women's opportunities.


PACS Staff


Our skilled PACS staff averages over 20 years of experience supporting technology implementations.  This includes 10 years supporting Radiology PACS systems from IBM and Fuji Systems.  We have numerous certifications demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and development. We are familiar with all aspects of hardware including PC/Server installation and repair, network wiring, and electrical wiring.


PACS Skills:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of PACS equipment including image workflow, archiving, routing, pre-fetching, correcting broken studies, editing patient demographics, HIS/RIS interface.
  • Monitor clinical workflow procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as PACS liaison to all hospital departments in digital imaging initiatives.
  • Provide overall project leadership for support team members.
  • Provide training to support PACS staff on installation, configuration and operation of the PACS and SAN Archive.
  • Procure equipment in support of upgrades and system maintenance.
  • Manage PACS implementation process including order review, project planning, resource scheduling and coordination, site specific system configuration design, equipment scheduling throughout the main hospital and nine remote branch medical clinics.
  • Install and maintain Diagnostic, QC and Clinical workstation operating systems and PACS software.
  • Manage DICOM Modality Worklist services along with the Radiology and Clinical teaching file system.
  • Create and maintain system and workflow documentation including standard operating system (sop) gidelines.
  • Excalate issues when appropriate and be an advocate for customer support, issues and problem solving.
  • Initiate switchover to system backup procedures as necessary and reporting of any system or component failures to DINPACS Site Manager.
  • Responsible for 24 hour on-call problems occurring with PACS and digital imaging trouble desk customer calls.
  • Interact with all levels of radiology department staffing and hospital players, always aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Maintain the existing outgoing UNIX based PACS system.
  • Support the PACS viewing stations (i.e. E-file, Radworks, etc.) and Radiology teleradiology systems.
  • Manage workstation handing protocols, transmit rules and auto routing, workstation kernal optimizing, memory management, session management settings, and various application services for DICOM support viewers.
